Remus

Character Appearance:

Remus is short for a male of his species, but still toned and well muscled. His back, the top of his tail, and his face are all pure white, but his underbelly, legs, tail tip, and ears are pitch black. He possesses a smoky region around his eyes where the black fades into the white, and he also has black speckling his back and face. His eyes are a cold, icy blue, really the only dash of color on his entire body. He, for some reason, always wears a white cravat. (here's a picture!)


Character Personality:

Remus is a very coarse individual. He can initially be viewed as relatively indifferent to everything, as that is the expression he, quite literally, is always wearing. He appears to have a blatant disregard for other's emotions, and will often make petulant or cruel comments with out disdain. He comes off as cold and unapproachable, and is actually a rather violent, high strung male.

Despite his harsh exterior, he does possess the capacity to care deeply for others. He actually hates unnecessary casualties, and has an acute distaste for the idea of the weak being trampled underfoot. He places a high value in his comrades, and is more than willing to go out of his way to ensure their safety.


Character Weakness: He does not appear to have any regard for the feelings of others, and often comes off as cruel and impudent. He's not a very good hunter either.

Character Strengths: Remus is a bad ass fighter. He was literally trained from birth to fight and kill, a talent that makes him deadly.


Character History:

Remus was born for one purpose and one purpose only: to kill. His father was the ex-alpha of a pack in which he had been thrown from power, primarily for his greedy, despotic practices. He had taken his unwilling mate with him, only to have her die shortly after childbirth. Thus, Remus never really got to know his mother. His father didn't care though; he had what he wanted. He needed a tool for his revenge, and his son was that vital instrument.

His father never once displayed any sort of affection towards his son, and began teaching him early on that the world in itself was cruel. He would abuse him both verbally and physically, actions that gave him his rough demeanor. He trained him tirelessly in the ways of the assassin, drilling his combat skill until it was to his standards.

By the time Remus was 2, he worked as his father's personal mercenary, and was often sent out on missions to kill who ever he was commanded to, all of which he completed successfully. Then the day soon came when his father sought his hour of vengeance; he sent his son to the territory of the pack he once ruled with one order: to murder their alpha, and anyone else who stood in his way. Remus, of course, obeyed, as he had with all of his father's demands, since he knew nothing else.

He observed the pack and his primary objective for the first few days of his mission, gathering all the information he would need to take the alpha down. as he was scouting about their territory, however, his attention was suddenly caught by an odd sight. A small female was being harassed by two males, and, for reasons he couldn't explain, he felt compelled to help her. He easily incapacitated them, sending them fleeing back to the safety of the pack. He vanished then, much to the she-wolf's disdain.

The fae then became determined to seek out her rescuer and she soon encountered him again on the out skirts of the territory, where he had been hiding. He saw her as an impertinence at first, and attempted to scare her off by seeming mean. But the female was relentless and refused to simply run away. He considered killing her several times, but each time he did, he found himself more and more unwilling to do so. She was just so gentle, so innocent; so different from what he knew.

So, he decided to let her hang around him, and she would often visit for a few hours before wandering back to the pack. It was during one of these visits that he learned who is father actually was to this pack; a horrible memory they wished to forget. Thus for the first time he began to doubt his father's orders, and whether or not he should go through with his mission. Unfortunately he waited too long.

One day the she-wolf did not come as he expected her to, so he searched deeper into the territory, concerned. He soon encountered her cadaver, along with his father standing over her. He was enraged that the female had compromised his son's mission, and threatened him, telling him to do as he says or he would kill him as well. Remus, however, was deeply affected by her death, and became so infuriated that he challenged his father on the spot. The end result: he murdered his dad.

He felt obligated to carry the female's body back to her family, who were horrified by what had occurred. He learned then from her parents that she held romantic feelings toward him, feelings he had never returned. Internally traumatized, he left their territory, putting his skill to use by hiring himself out as an assassin.
