Appearance: Kegan is a medium sized wolf standing no higher than any average wolf, his body no bigger than a normal wolf on the outside he is as average as it comes, but beneath his fluffy fur though is muscles used in hard labor, and scars riddle his body but you don't see them as his fur covers them all. His piercing yellow eyes are cold and bitter against his black fur. Kegan is missing about two toenails, one on his front left paw, one on his back right. He has one white marking on his back left leg right on the inside.
Personality:You can see the personality that Kegan displays but looking in his eyes, deep yellow eyes display a cold, bitter, and calculating intelligence. Kegan was born to lead, any problem he faces he would rather use deadly intelligence than strength to win. Evil may look like it clings to this wolf, but this is not true, everything he does he does for a reason, and it is not because he is evil, but because he hates the world for what it has done to him.
Deep beneath this exterior is another, one that is now so buried that no one but a single wolf has seen. Kegan beneath his cold exterior is just a child at heart. Having missed out on the treasures of puppyhood, he longs to have the life he was promised. When completely lone, Kegan would rather be playing in the snow than plotting downfall on others. He just wants to be loved, and love back without the pain he has seen in the world and himself.
History: Kegan was born to a pair of by the names of Kalhan and Karo. He was the single male in a litter of 5, have four younger siblings to look out for. He was born to lead the now growing pack of his fathers. Growing up he was primed and taught, and favored above the other child, much to the chagrin of three of his sisters. They hated him bitterly, but he never noticed, he still loved them dearly, and had promised to protect them with all his strength.
He supposes that is what got him in trouble, his three sisters had been plotting against him, they planned to ambush him when he was out watching the borders. As they did, the attacked from all angles, unwilling to kill the creatures he loved the most, Kegan took the abuse, until he realized they wished to kill him. Raised to lead, and protect, he had to do something. That day he cut down his three sisters in cold blood. Killing each brutally and leaving them where they laid as he went to report to his father. He then learned his father had known about the ambush and had said nothing, using this as a test for his son, a test he had passed. Heartbroken and enraged, Kegan lashed out and tore the throat from his father. In horror, Kegan fled, conflicting emotions making the young wolf weak and emotional. So he didn't hear the paw steps behind him until his last sister stepped beside him. She said nothing just lay beside her weeping brother. She was the light in the darkness.
They traveled so long, Kegan's sister keeping Kegan sane, and away from the pain of killing his family. Kegan so relied on his sister, that it was yet another blow to his when she left him. Finding a mate she walked away without another word, abandoning all she had done with him. Broken again Kegan took home in his uncles pack, growing up with his cousin Derek, he didn't stay there long, it was too cutesy that pack, made his skin shutter, and if he was truthful, he hated his cousin for the life he had, it was perfect.
So he left in the night, no word just left, he traveled a lot, never stopping and killing many, attempting to deaden the pain in his heart, he met a wolf though, a female that was alone and looking for a mate. Kegan should have known it was too good, she was kind and sweet and made him forget about his past. Which is why he didn't see it coming when she left him, saying that she never loved him, was just lonely and wanted some fun. His once healing heart was broken again. Despair came over him, he would never find love, or home. Finally he let the bitterness consume him, he became a hater of the world, but too much of a coward to kill himself. So he returned to his fighting random creatures, this times in hope that they would kill him and he would not have to.
That was until he stumbled upon the Luminaries pack, he didn't know why he stayed, but he did, and the weirdest thing happened. Within the pack where two members, one a crazy wolf named Tic, and a female name Teagan. Each found a way into his cold bitter heart and revived him. One as a brother they other as his mate. She actually loved him, and they were together for so long. Until the downfall of the Luminaries pack, they were separated in the rush to get out before destruction killed them. He never did find Teagan, or Tic, but he knows they are alive, but that he will likely never see them again. So he is once more on his own, trying to find a way to end it all.
Weaknesses: He is of average size, so he is not great in battle. And he hates females, more specifically females in power.
Strengths: Intelligent, coldhearted, feels no remorse.
